Touring Vienna (Day 9)

Today, we have decided that we wanted to tour vienna..... so firstly in the morning, we went to the media markt where they sell electronics stuff......it is very very cheap if we compare it to malaysia where the tax are off the roof......the objective that we went to the shop is that we wanted to buy a digital frame whereby we can put many pictures in the frame and it will show the pictures by using transitions.....the ones that we wanted to buy costs us around 299€.... i was the one that influence my mum to buy that frame....hehehehe

unfortunately, the frame that was displayed was the last piece.....so we asked if there are any left in other branches.....when they checked there is one on the other side of town.....so we decided to get the frame tomorrow..... we went back to my aunt's apartment..... but before that we went to Hofer, a shopping market where they sell variety of stuffs there......tell u guys something, they also sell very good leather at a reasonable price...... after that we went to meet auntie jah at my aunt's place......

auntie jah will show us around town where by she will be coming to meet us at the apartment.....so after we are all ready, we went to town via public transport.....seriously it is very cheap.....€3 u can go on the public transport no matter how many times u board it.......it is worth it......so today we went to visit the town via trams, trains and also buses......another reason being is that the public transports here are well organised and that in the town centre it is hard for us to find a parking area in the middle of the city......wouldn't it be nice if malaysia were like this........ during our journey, we saw this artistic building, we were really shock that the place was actually the place where they burn all the rubbish or as they call it the relay.......

the first place that we went was to go to the place where they sell souvenirs...... so we went there and me and my parents bought some souvenirs for the guyz back home.......so after dealing with all the souvenirs.....it is time we went to visit vienna...... we went to visit the artistic buildings, museums, parliaments, palace, tourist centre, shopping centre and etc........the places here are fantastic and excellent....

finally mum got the handbag that she wants.....she choose selvatore ferrogamo.....oh well, dad's the one who pays for it....... kudos....

we walked, we ride until our heels hurts and our shoe's sole are getting thinner and thinner......but it is really worth it...... we took pictures and also admire the place that vienna has got to offer......we arrived back home to my aunt's place around 930 in the evening via the tram..... so auntie jah, a million thanx for ur hospitality and we will really appreciate it......

Parndoff Designer Outlet-Vienna (Day 8)

today, the plan of the day is truly madly shopping day.....hehehehe......we are going to a the designer outlet which is located in parndoff, vienna.......the location is located via www.designeroutlets.at.

the outlet has a 300 outlet stores....yes 300 stores at a place....that's a lot....... u just name it from prada, ralph lauren, bally and etc.....everything is there...... so after we went to couple of stores, me and my brother went on our own ways while our parents and sisters went to shop in the other direction......

not to say why, but me and my brother dig in nike.....so there are many nike apparels that we've bought and also many other brands too.... we spent about 4-5 hours there to buy things that we adore.....hehehehe

apparently my mum doesn't get what she wants.....that is a designer brand handbag.....so tomorrow we are going to explore vienna....till next time, cheerioz.....

vienna-budapest (day 7)

today i woke up at 7....we have to wake up early becoz the plan for today is that we are going to budapest, hungary.....yeah baby, budapest the land of mardigras......hehehehe...... but as for today, auntie jah is coming with us which is a good thing....she knows the way around europe i must say.... so we set off our journey at 9 in the morning....the journey will take us approximately 3 hours...it is just like from KL to JB.......

so with beautiful landscapes again surrounding environment and pictures are taken, we stop after an hour and half of travelling.....we went to the toilet and also had some snacks..... after 30 minutes of break....we hit back the journey...... then at 12 we arrived in budapest.....auntie jah took us to a place where we could buy sourvenirs...... yerp that place has lotsa sourvenirs and we went to buy some for the guys back home...... the town is a nice place to be, it is beside the river that connects 7 countries........ after buying some goods and also pictures taken, we had our lunch picnic by the stream.....with the cooling breeze and relaxed environment, it really makes me forget about work and also the stress...hehehe....no harms aite boss....

then auntie jah brought us to tour the city....but on the way, we were stuck in a traffic jam.......yerp, it is as bad as in KL.....but we manage to finally reach the city.......budapest is actually made out of two city that is being separate by the river.......one side is buda and the other is pest.....so it comes out as budapest......we parked our car at marriot budapest......

we then tour the city and i found a cap and a bag that i really liked.......so ka-ching goes the cash register....hahahahaha......then we went to tour some more shops and also took pictures......then after 2 hours of walk around, we went to McD to have our dinner.....this is where i had to become chicken and duck that we have language problem to talk to place and order......it is like uk ah uk eh oh.....hahahaha.....it is seriously we are using sign language to give our objectives...... if to look at it, we are like deaf at some point...hahahaha......so after we had our dinner, we took pictures at the city of budapest......we took pictures at the parliament, museums, bridges and etc......

we went back home at 8 in the evening and arrived in vienna at 11 at nite......tomorrow's plan, shopping at the designer's outlet.....muahahahaha....cheerioz

vienna-zjnomo, Czech Republic (day 6)

O'oh, today this morning when i wanted to wear my jeans, out of no where, it kindda fit just nice.....and i can feel that my cheek is getting tighter and tighter....seriously this holiday has really given my exercise and also my diet a real holiday......ok when go back to KL, diet and exercise is back in schedule....hahahaha

ok, this morning after a good nite rest, we had our breakfast at 930 in the morning...and at 10 we are off th a place called znjomo (pronounced as sunamo)......the place is in Czech Republic....i didn't knew that these countries are placed nearby austria....it seems that the country is just north east of austria.......

the travelling hours will only take about an hour.......on the way we saw beautiful landscapes and also windmills......these windmills are being used for generating electricity for the city......i guess this is how they use nature's way of making life easier...... when we reached the border, we had to stamp our passports and also headcounts are being checked......after all cleared, we arrived to a town tznagmo......the town is just a small place, but it is a place where we can buy sourvenirs...... my mum bought some sourvenirs for my relatives back home....and after 2 hours of taking pictures and also buying some sourvenirs.......we hit back home......

after we stamp back our passports at czech borders, we came to a place called freeport...this place is in a no man's land....this means that it is not in austria and also it is not in czech.....yes this is a shopping heaven for me......i really bought many stuffs there....becoz it is really really cheap if we compare it to malaysian ringgit......after some credit cards swipe and also some cash being used, we then set back home after 3 hours of shopping....hahahaha

milan-venice-udine-vienna (18 hours journey)-(day 5)

today's objective was to go back to vienna....so early morning we are up and pack our stuff in the car.......we went to uncle ijad's place and wish him goodbye and also tell him to take care.....his not well today as he has this allergy.....we hit the road at 830 in the morning.....we went to san siro to see if there are any sourvenirs that we can buy.....but unfortunately there aren't any......

so we decided to go back to vienna...... after some driving about 4 hours, we went to a rest stop to fill up the gas.....my aunt suggest that we hit venice beach...so my dad agreed.... we went to venice which takes us about 3 hours to reach there.......when we arrived at venice beach, the wind was really blowing and it brings us into shivers......we stroll down the town there which reminds me of bondi beach in australia..... as the cloud turns grey, we quickly took pictures and hit off back to our journey......

the next stop for our journey is the town of udine....according to auntie jah, a malaysian who had lived in the europe for almost 30 years, the town is famous for its leather products....unfortunately the rain was pouring down heavily in which it restricts us to go down and visit the place....so once again we hit back to the road.....

during our journey, my mum asked me to accompany my dad coz she says that she needs to take a nap.....since i was doing most of the sleeping on the way to milan, so i guess it is fair for me to accompany my dad......so we talked bout many stuffs......another activity that we did to entertain ourself was counting the tunnels that we've gone through.....we then came to the austrian borders......we stopped at the rest station for our dinner....

after some refreshments about an hour, we also took pictures of the scenery before we went off.....as we continued the journey, out of sudden, my uncle turn into a village....this is according to the GPS system that the road that we are using will direct us to a quicker way.....but i think it was the other way around.....so we entered back the highway bout an hour later as the next turn in to the highway was quite a distance......

about 50km reaching vienna, we saw 2 accidents in which one of 'em, the car was flipped with its tyres on top....gosh......we arrived in vienna around 230 in the morning which brings us about 18hours journey.....

now i am very sleepy and need some sleep.......toodles...

milan,italy -lugano,switzerland-san siro, italy (day 4)

this morning, we woke up around 630 in the morning.....the sun was up and we were getting ready to go for our visit to the country that is located above italy which is switzerland.....we have made an appoinment with uncle ijad that we are going to have our breakfast at his place.....the menu for today's breakie is nasi lemak italian style...

uncle ijad is very good chef, a compliment to him.....so after we had our breakie, we set off to switzerland..... we made our convoi of 3 cars (uncle ijad's, ours and also my aunt's)...the journey will take about 2 hours to drive..... seriously the journey was breath taking.....it started as soon as we set to the borders.... the scenery is full of green hills and also with houses and buildings in between.....

then we arrived in lugano which i must say is one of the most beautiful place in the world....it is a tourist attraction and especially for those with lotsa money...... but when we arrived in lugano, uncle ijad has a problem with his car....a cover underneath his car came off and he need to go back to milan to fix it....he gave us the direction to go back to milan and with that he when back to milan....

so the first thing that we did was we had our lunch.....so as always it is filet o fish from mcd for the menu....with the suprise of our life, we saw that they placed a playstation 2 in the mcd.....i guess that they really don't vadalize things.....ever wondered what will happen if playstations were placed in mcd in malaysia? i guess the whole playstation is gone....hahahaha

and the game that was being played on the playstation was tennis, they really praised Roger Federer there as that is where he comes from......so after we had our lunch, we went to the toilet....the reason being is that in europe, toilets in restaurant is only restricted for the customers...they will give a key to keyed in and the door will be unlock for the customers to used, but our number was really simple as it was 1331....so anyone wanna use the toilet in McD lugano, switzerland may use such number to unlock the door to access to the toilet...hahahaha

so after that, we went through lugano town and taking pictures......i was like, i wish i could stay there forever....since the scenery and also the weather was fantastic......after taking some pictures, my parents bought some sourvenirs to be cherish as memories..... later we went to see the shops that are available in the town...most of it was designers shops..... the price is reasonable but the shops were closed as it is on sunday.......but the thing that i respect bout this place is that they really put their products in the display that is in the middle of the pavement where we could see it closely.......the people here are very well disciplined i guess.....

it later rained that day and were running for shelter.....as the rain slows down, we went back to our cars and hit back to milan.....it took us 3 hours to reach milan as we are not familiar with the roads there.....when we arrived in milan, we planned to go back to san siro to take pictures in the day.....after an hour rest, we hit off to san siro...to our suprised, there was a last game for the serie A league, it was Inter Milan vs Torino in which Inter won by 3 to nil..... after some snaps of photos, we hit the bazaar there to buy some merchandise....after that, we went to PwC milan where i took some pictures for memories......

after the becoming a model for the paparazzi (my brother) we went back to the apartment in which tomorrow we are going back to vienna......till next time, cheerioz....
