yesterday when i was working, got a phone call from mum.......when i picked up she said...fahmi, dun forget eh, malam ni got kenduri at tok chip's house.......basically we are going to attend a kenduri at my granduncle's place in melawati.......
granduncle is throwing the kenduri becoz he wants to perform a doa selamat after all his heart bypass surgery went successfully.......
we arrived at his place bout 830ish in which there was no guests yet....just few relatives here and there... later bout 9, the guests arrived and the ceremony started bout 915ish......it was just a short kenduri as there was no yassin and it was just few recitings and also the doa after that.......
later we waited for the guests to eat their meals first before we had ours.....in the mean time we just add/ top up back the food which was on the table.....the food for the nite was fried mee hoon, roti jala, chicken curry, the lontong set, bread with durian gravy and also watermelon as for desserts.......
we did some catch ups with the relatives and came back home bout 11ish......all and all, the kenduri was very simple and also it went smoothly.....to granduncle, glad that u r recovering well........
