trip down south (part 2)

ok, it was at 6ish when i woke up and gave azlan a call........... he said that he is bout 50km from jb and he wanted to have breakie first....... so took time to shower and also dressed up......... azlan and wifey went for breakie and then changed the currency to SG dollars..........

met him bout 8ish and took a cab together to SG........ we were stuck a bit at the checkpoint due to heavy traffic coz of many malaysians wanted to enter to SG......... so arrived at SG town where the taxi stand is around 9ish close to 10........... so said goodbyes to azlan and if anything just text him....... changed currency and also went to bugis junction to have breakie......... had the meal set in which it hasn't arrived yet to malaysia......it was the kung fu panda set...........yes...... the movie hasn't arrived to malaysia yet so there are no such set available in malaysia............

The meal of the day

after spending bout 30 mins having breakie, set off to bugis junction to see what are their offerings.......... it is like the curve this bugis junction only better coz it is fully air-cond in which the curve only offers fans in walkways........... so there was nothing much there at bugis junction just that everything hasn't open yet coz it is early in the morning......hahahaha.........

later took the mrt and headed to the city hall station......... there we entered the raffles plaza and went to robinssons in which trying to find some stuff where we did not managed to find any.......hehehehe..........out of sudden, felt very very sleepy and found a comfy couch on the top floor of the plaza and rest for a while.......... decided to have something that can give a wake up call to the brain so went to starbux and ordered dolce de leche frappucino and that really did da job......hehehehe......

took a stroll to esplanade and was amazed by its durianness...........but then again, upon arrival, it was raining........... so headed to max braner and had valencia something something chocolate drink......it was nice and unique the taste i may say........ wish that it was availabled in malaysia..... after the rain has stopped, went outside and became cam-whorers of myself......hahahaha.........

there, took a picture of the famous clock in labu labi, went to the merlion statue, took pix of where about the F1 is gonna held in SG and of course the esplanade............later went back to the MRT and headed to the orchard road as they said it is the Bukit Bintang of SG........so wanted to see whether what they say is true........... yeah ok la it is like BB of SG...............but then there are many shopping complex around there............

first, went to borders to get my FHM in which i collect.............there was nothing much at the first mall................ later went to the isetan in which i was impress by their ralph lauren store coz it is very very classy................but other than that, it was nothing much......... so decided to go to tangs across the street............ what impresses me the most is that there are underpass which connects the complex all together........... so got myself a pair of jeans there.......... in which i as a foreigner in the country got 5% more discount on top of the discounted price..........hehehehehe.........

went out from tangs and decided to go to takashimaya............. but, when we went outside, it was raining cats and dogs...........even when we used the underpass, we still had to walk a bit outside to the building where takashimaya is............... and out of sudden, feets are getting painful from time to time......and nothing much there at takashimaya..............

tummy were grumbling and wanted to try the new meal at McDs.........yes, today is the day of McDs............... tried their spicy chicken mcnuggets, onion rings and also their mcwings in which they do not sell those in malaysia............sigh..........like this move to SG la, got a lot of varieties.......hahahahahaha......was really satisfied with the food and were stuffed...............

later, went outside and the rain has stopped and took the train from orchard to ang mo kio for the trip to the night safari........in fact, the main objective of the SG trip is to go to the Night safari............ upon arrival at the MRT station, took the bus of 138 to the night safari which took us bout 30mins of the journey.................. in fact, we passed by the houses in SG whereby the filthy rich people lives.........the road is called mandai road..........the houses are basically terrace link house.......but rule of thumb, who ever can live in a landed house in SG are filthy rich people........... oh yeah, passed by phua chu kang's cousin's road who is called Yio Chu Kang.........hahahahahaha............

lunch for da day

arrived at the night safari bout 7ish and straight away took pictures at the entrance and went to buy tickets at the counter..........the great thing bout this month was that malaysians pay 22 bucks but not in SG currency, rather it is in ringgit..........hohohoho.......yes it was a good deal......... but then paid 10 SG dollars to go on the tram ride in which it was recommended by the girl at the counter................ so when received the tickets, wasted no time in applying the mozzies repellent so that we won't get bitten and also won't get dengue fever from SG mozzies..........hahahaha...........

there was a show of animals bout 830ish, but then the gurl at the counter urge us to go early due to the massive crowd that nite.............yeah, we took the advise and it was true of what she said bout the crowd............. there are people from malaysia, aussie, india, japan and etc..............but before that, took some pix with snakes, wild cats and also owls........

the show was interesting........there are wolves, otters, wild cats, owls and also snakes............the host of the show was very audience friendly as she knows how to tackle them.......kudos to them.......


after the show ended, went to take the tram and went for the tour around the night safari.........there were deers, lions, otters, giraffes, tapirs (which came close to the tram and stared at me) huhuhuhu............ elephants, hippos and etc.................there was a station in the middle where by we can hop down and take a stroll at the leopards trail where we can see flying squirrels, leopards, porcupines and etc...................


after the tour at the night safari, it struct me that yeah, what have we done till these animals have no more places to live........... so it does make me a bit noble after the tour........a bit only la.......hahahahaha.......... later went to the sourvenir shop to get some stuff and also had the ben and jerry's ice cream.............

and the best part was, we ended our trip of the night safari bout 1115ish at nite......... and was thinking of how to get back to JB........... hmmmmm............. we were quite worried.......... of course we can take the cab back to JB but it won't be adventurous as azlan would say............so asked the tour guide there and he advise us to hop on the bus and head to choa chu kang station to kranji station and take the bus of 170 to JB............... so took advise and went to kranji station and saw the 170 bus bout to leave...........ran as fast as we could and we were the last passengers to onboard the bus.................

the bus departed bout 1145ish and arrived at the customs/ checkpoint of SG bout 12ish.......yes it is very near actually............... got our passport stampped after a long queue at the checkpoint and also took the same bus 170 back to the checkpoint of malaysia.............

arrived in malaysia and had an issue......... there are no bus to go back to the hotel.......... an uncle offered to send us back to the hotel bout 15 bucks .........it is quite unreasonable but due to safety sake, why not rite.................

arrived back to the hotel bout 1240ish, took shower and hit the sack and had a very pleasant ride to the lalaland....................... all and all, the trip was an adventurous one and enjoyable..............
