well, last nite was no exception...........it all started when i was watching the Asian Food Channel(AFC) and they were talking about kuey tiau here and there........and out of sudden, my tummy was grumbling.......decided to call up sweetie and told her that am craving for kuey tiau..........she said that we should try the place that siong sie recommended us near the TAR college.........
so, at nite, sweetie fetch me and we drove to TAR college with siong sie giving us the direction via the phone.........and to our suprise when we arrived there, we were shocked to see the queue........it was like 20-30 meters long and we were like WTH~~~??.........is it that good that these people are willing to line up for the taste of it.........
i've told sweetie that she should queue up first while i will find the parking to park the car........and after i've managed to park the car, sweetie gave me a buzz and said tha there was 2 lines..........one is for the nasi lemak and another is for kuey tiau.........hmmmmmmmmm, so i've queued up for the kuey tiau and sweetie went for da nasi lemak.............and yes, after 0.2km/h and 30 mins of queuing up, we finally gotten our food..........
the kuey tiau was really mouth watering i must say.......and the nasi lemak is good too........it reminds me of how i use to eat nasi lemak during my primary school years becoz the sambal is sweet..........hehehehe.............
and yes, when we went back after all the munching, we were really full...........plus, satisfied too.......hehehehe..........
nonetheless, this won't be the end of elmo and oscar's food hunting adventure...........
